Instrument: Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy
Model: ESCA+S, Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis Instrument (Scienta Omicron Nanotechnology)
Location: Conte B-524
Description: a UHV-based, m in the Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy configuration, provides spectral analysis of kinetic/binding energies of electrons emitted from the material surface under the UV (He I line, 21.2 eV) photo-excitation. The instrument is equipped with an Ar+ sputtering gun and state-of-the-art ZalarTM for depth-profiling.
